Housing Project For Felons In Oregon

Many felons, violent and nonviolent have a very hard time finding housing and/or an apartment in many areas across the United States.  Felons in the community of Eugene, OR ar going to have a much easier time now thanks to this organization.

Sponsors Inc. is planning to build a apartment complex with up to 54 units in Eugene Oregon very soon. The project is slated to be finished sometime in the year 2017 and will be located on Oak Patch Road.

Sponsors Inc., an agency that provides re-entry services for people with criminal histories, is planning to build an apartment complex specifically for people with criminal backgrounds who have trouble finding a place to rent.

Monthly rent will be affordable at a price tag of only 450 – 500 dollars a month per unit. All of the housing will be long term rentals and will only cater to people with criminal pasts. Some of the neighboring communities have expressed concern about the felon only housing but that has not stopped Sponsors Inc from continuing construction.

Sponsors Inc has many other reentry services and are a wonderful for those trying to reenter the workforce in Oregon. They work closely with the Lane county parole and probation departments to help lower recidivism rates.
