Georgia Board of Parole – “The State Board of Pardons and Paroles welcomes you to the Transitional Housing for Offender Reentry (THOR) Directory, an on-line directory of community-based housing for persons releasing from prison or on probation or parole. ”


Georgia Center for Opportunity – This is not a program you can enter but they may be able to refer you to one in your local area within the state of Georgia.

Safe Haven Transitional – PO Box 501, Conley, GA 30288 | (404) 241-8740 | For bettered women only. “Safe Haven Transitional, Inc. provides intermediate longer term shelter with a wide range of flexible and optional services that reflect the differences and individual needs of battered women with or without children, which allows them to choose the course of action that is best for them.”


Our House – One of the best reentry programs in the state of Georgia.


Home Stretch – 89 Grove Way, Roswell, GA 30075 – “Home Stretch offers working homeless families a proven path toward financial stability, improved employment, stronger family relationships and permanent affordable housing. The Home Stretch Supportive Housing program has 23 two- and three-bedroom apartments. Four are ADA accessible.” Must have a job and a child to qualify.


Gilgal Inc (Women Only) – 541 Mobile Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30315 | “Gilgal operates two residential recovery homes, as well as one administrative building. Each facility is equipped and staffed to aid women in their recovery and transition to independent living. Gilgal women receive individualized assessments, comprehensive case management, and ongoing programming and support services in a clean, safe environment. We also provide them with the basic essentials (food, clothing, housing), as well as biblical enrichment to support their spiritual growth.”
