Southwest Airlines has many positions open regularly for gate agents and also at their call center. Salvation Army – Many openings for felons.

Lowes – Applicants may be rejected if an interview or background check reveals that the applicant has been convicted of a felony or offense against property such as receipt of stolen property, larceny, embezzlement, burglary, or similar convictions.

Southwest Airlines – Felons considered depending on conviction.

Goodwill – Felonies must be a non-violent and non-sexual felony, along with no serious theft charges.

Colorado Department of Personnel –  Felony convictions of crimes of moral turpitude or convictions of misdemeanors related to job duties may disqualify you from consideration for positions.

Kleinfelder  – Denver, CO –  No conviction of a felony offense in the last 7 years or any pending felony charge(s).

Baron TransportDenver, CO – If a driver has a felony, how old must it be? At least 7 years.  Maximum Moving Violation Restrictions for past 3 years: 4.

It is important to understand that some states have laws regarding how far back a criminal background check can go. Here are the laws.

Twelve states do not allow any felony conviction information older than seven years to be reported.

These states will report unlimited numbers of years back of felony convictions and also report NOT guilty verdicts: Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
